HASTINGS BLOSSOM PARADE – SATURDAY 15 SEPTEMBER.

As usual, we will be participating in this wonderful community event. The theme is ‘Show us your heART’ and as our heART is all about performing we will be pulling out all of the drama workshop costumes and making a splash of colour and life – also each student is asked to make and decorate a heart to carry in the parade to symbolise their own heART and compliment their colourful costume. As usual, we want as many students to participate as possible – it is a fun morning that finishes with a sausage sizzle and prize-giving around 1pm. Last year we won ‘peoples choice award’ which was very very exciting!! Younger siblings are invited to join us – the more the merrier, we just ask that anyone under school age is accompanied by a parent please.
Costume pick-ups: First in best dressed!!
We will have our costume stash out and on display on the following days. Parents need to sign the costume out and there will be a fee for anything not returned or returned damaged or dirty
Havelock North: Thursday September 13 from 2.30pm – 5.00pm
Napier: Friday 14 September from 2.30pm -4.30pm
Drop in and see what we’ve got – we are not sure we will have something for everyone so if you’ve got a favourite costume, wear that on the day – but don’t forget to make your Heart.
